Rachel George is a video producer and visual storyteller. After freelancing in Ecuador and Peru as a one-woman videographer, she worked for nearly a decade as a producer/director at a production company in Washington, DC before moving into conservation film and independent video storytelling. She is currently based between DC and the South Island of New Zealand as a freelance filmmaker, specializing in conservation and environmental work.

Outside of work, from 2016 to 2019, she served as the Communications Director of Rising Organizers, a completely volunteer-run nonprofit that offers free trainings in community organizing. She was also an organizer with the DC chapter of Video Consortium, a community for nonfiction filmmakers.
