When FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr threatened U.S. media and pressured ABC to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air in September 2025, RSF joined press freedom organizations nationwide in condemning the chilling attack on free speech.

As part of RSF USA’s ongoing work to hold the FCC accountable, we filmed this quick-turn social response video covering their demonstrations outside the FCC headquarters in Washington, DC. Turned around in 48 hours, the video amplified the demonstrations across RSF’s US-based and international social platforms.
